This study provides a summary of employee benefits for companies in the US market, as well as an analysis across sectors. It also looks at different staffing categories to get more insight into how employers can best support their employees' needs from varying perspectives.
When it comes to employee benefits, not all companies are created equal. Some offer more traditional benefits like health insurance and matching 401k contributions, while others offer more unique perks like free meals and on-site child care. But what are the most promoted benefits among employers? And how do they communicate these benefits to prospective employees?
To answer these questions, MorganHR conducted a bi-annual study with a focus on compensation and benefits. We analyzed the publicized and promoted benefits on company websites and LinkedIn company pages.
The most commonly promoted benefits among employers are health insurance, 401k matching, and paid time off. These benefits are typically prominently featured on company websites and LinkedIn pages, often in the form of an overview of the company's benefits package.
However, we also found that some employers are beginning to promote more unique benefits, like unlimited vacation days or student loan repayment assistance. These less common benefits are often presented in a more creative way, such as through infographics or videos.
Overall, our study showed that employers are increasingly promoting unique benefits as a way to stand out from the competition. And when it comes to communicating these benefits, creativity is key.

“The pandemic has brought about many changes, some of which may be here to stay. One such change is the rise of TeleHealth, or telemedicine. As the world adapts to the new normal, among other findings this study highlights, TeleHealth seems likely to become an increasingly popular way to receive medical care.”
